Operation Ashbourne at Darley Moor Airfield 7-8 June 2025

Operation Ashbourne 40's Weekend at Darley Moor Airfield on 7th - 8th June 2025 from 10am until 5pm each day. We will be showcasing Julie's mesmerising acrylic fluid art paintings and a great range of tie dye products for sale. In addition we will have a fabulous range of Boho jewellery to choose from. Simon will be making and selling his ever popular balloon swords for the kids.

Over the weekend there is a flypast planned by a Dakota (Saturday) and a Lancaster (Sunday). There is a trading village, period reenactors, living history group, all day entertainment and Military and Vintage vehicles. There is an entry fee to this event.

Come along for a great weekend of nostalgia. On the Saturday, starting at 7:30pm, there is the 'Hanger Dance' featuring The Swing Commanders who are a stunningly vibrant and versatile group that perform an exciting mix of 1940s Classics, Boogie-Woogie, Western Swing, 50’s Jump Jazz and more!
